Track Your Status and Mood Updates with LifeGra.ph

chachafance Social Network Leave a Comment

Have you ever thought about tracking your mood online regularly? Are you sad more than you are happy? Are you upset around the same time of each month? Are you always in a good mood or do your moods shift from day-to-day?
If you don’t know the answer to the above questions and want to find out, meet LifeGra.ph. This unique service allows you to track your life according to your moods.
You may not think that moods are very important, but they are. Moods influence your outlook on life and highly affect your productivity. So let’s take a look at how to track your status and mood updates with LifeGra.ph.

Getting Started

1. First you’ll need to register with LifeGra.ph and you can do so by using your Facebook account.
Create an account on LifeGraph.
If you’re already signed into Facebook, most of your information will be filled in automatically; just create a password and click on “register.”
If you’re not logged into Facebook, click on the Facebook “Login” button at the top right of the page.
2. After registering, you’ll be taken to your LifeGra.ph user page. Your graph will be empty if this is your first time using the service.

Posting Mood Updates

1. Now it’s time to start tracking your moods, which is very easy. Underneath your graph, you’ll see a blue box with a slider and comment box.

Enter your mood and status on LifeGraph.

This is where you will select your mood and enter a status message to go along with it.
2. The slider is used to select your mood. Click and drag it to the left to indicate a bad mood; likewise, click and drag it to the right to indicate a good mood.
You’ll see the mood type change as you drag it back and forth; there will also be a corresponding number (grade) with each mood.
The number scale goes from 1 to 100 just like the academic grading system; this grade is important and will help to chart your mood and calculate your average happiness.
3. Once you have your desired mood selected, you can enter a comment to complete your status. Then, click on the “update” button.
4. Once you update your mood, your graph will also be updated with a dot representing your mood for the day.

Share your mood updates from LifeGraph on Facebook.

A Facebook sharing box will also pop up and allow you to share this new update if you’d like.
5. You can update your mood as often as you’d – even more than once per day. However, your graph will only display one mood for each day. Which mood? Well, LifeGra.ph will take the average of all of your moods for the day (using the number grades) and chart that single number of the graph.

Update your mood on LifeGraph and chart your status.

6. The more you update your chart throughout the weeks and months, the better it will look.  Each new update will display below the graph and status box.
Unfortunately, you can’t delete any of your updates – so be careful what you post.

Final Thoughts

I’m sure you may be wondering what the point of this service is, right? Well, it’s for your own personal use, even though your URL is public and can be shared.
There are not really any social networks that focus on your mood, so it’s a nice change from the rest. Plus, it will be pretty neat to look back in a few months or even a year and see just how you were feeling throughout and why.
What are your thoughts on LifeGra.ph and will you start charting your moods?
