Did you ever try to copy the content from a corrupted disk? Most CD or DVDs get corrupted after some span of times and you repeatedly fail to copy the data from that corrupted disk. Generally, you get this message – “Can not copy file or folder Data Error(Cyclic Redundancy Check error)”. It means that the CD or DVD has gone kaput, that is, has become corrupted.
