If you are an avid user of Facebook, you might be wanting the feature of hiding your recent activity from your friends in your profile. This is because some Facebook users do not want to share their recent activities for privacy. This feature was not available to hide their private activities on Facebook in the past. But finally, Facebook rolled out the feature allowing users to hide their recent activity on Facebook.
Useful tip: Setup Facebook video call.
All you have to do to use this pretty useful feature is go to your Facebook profile feeds and start hiding the recent activity stories categorically that you don not want to show your friends.
For instance, if you want to hide all the friending activities i.e you don’t want to show which people accepted your friend request or vice-versa, scroll down the profile page and find out the profile post for your friending activity. Then click on the X button beside it.
Clicking the X button will give you two options, Remove post and Hide all friending activity. Simply click on the second option to hide all the friending stories at your Facebook profile and then click Hide All.
This will not only hide the activity for that particular entry but also hide all the friending stories from you profile.
Similarly, you can hide your comments to your friends profile, page likes etc.
You can bring back the recent activity that was previously hidden by you in the visible mode by editing the profile story settings. Scroll down your profile page and click on Edit Options at the bottom most of the page.
Now you can see there all the hidden stories of your profile. Remove the recent activity from the hidden list and save to un-hide the activity to your Facebook friends.
In fact, Facebook have had the feature of disabling the recent Activity on Facebook in the past. But suddenly the authority dropped that for further improvement. However, finally the feature is again live and you can hide your activity on Facebook from your Friend.
While Facebook is quite active to protect your privacy, you might also like to setup Facebook Login email alert for the security of your account.
