Detailed Review on Asus ZenPower {Power Bank}

maadhav Tech news 3 Comments

Asus recently added a new product to it’s series named ZenPower. As the name suggest, this is actually a power bank which comes with a power storage capacity of 10050 mAh. Grab a cup of coffee and continue with us as we review this awesome product just for you!
Asus ZenPower

Asus ZenPower Review

Design
Asus ZenPower is a wonder in your pocket! This device is so small that it can easily fit in your palm, to be accurate it is almost identical to the size of a credit card. It weighs around 215g and that’s definitely light weight keeping in mind that you are talking about a 10050 mAh power bank. The whole casing of this power bank is made up of aluminum which can withstand a weight of 60kg! Well, that’s amazing!
Asus ZenPower
Asus ZenPower even offers some great looks if you choose the limited edition black version as it feature concentric circles which looks similar to that seen in ZenFone 2!
ZenPower features 4 indicating LEDs along with a power button in the front which shows the amount of battery left in the device. Each of the LED denotes 25% of the battery.
Asus ZenPower
There is one USB output in the device which is little disappointing because with so much of power in the ZenPower, one could have easily charged 2 devices at once if there were 2 USB outputs.
Performance
I used Asus ZenPower for almost a week and that is the reason I am here writing Asus ZenPower review! I usually don’t prefer to review accessories that thoroughly but this time I had to change my mind just because of awesome performance of this power bank!
After almost a week of usage, one thing I can say for sure, this is one of the most amazing power bank Indian Market has ever witnessed. I used this power bank aggressively under varying conditions just to test this device to the extreme limits. Surprisingly, this device performed better than I thought of!
Asus ZenPower Power Bank
I tested the ZenPower with Dazen 1, Dazen X7, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and the Lenovo A7000 and believe me, it charged all of them once easily and still had some juice left in it! The 2.4A of output is pretty good and charged a device from 0% to 100% within a couple of hours.
At the end, the device is SPLENDID!
Accessories
Surprised? You don’t actually see accessories for a power bank but the one which we have here has some great accessory for itself! Actually there is nothing much but this device comes with protective bumper that can help you prevent damaging any other stuff by ZenPower!
Asus ZenPower Cabinate
Actually the device is pretty heavy (as compared to other stuff) and can damage other things if kept in purse or a bag without any protection. Therefore, it is suggested to get a bumper case for the device as it not only adds protection to the device but even makes it look more stylish with the colors available!

Availability and Price

The ZenPower is available to buy online as well as offline for a price of Rs. 1499. Asus ZenPower comes in 5 different colors which are definitely going to make you look fashionable!

Verdict

Asus ZenPower definitely gets a tough competition from the OnePlus’ power bank and Xiaomi’s power bank but the storage capacity and the high output makes it run ahead in the race! The only thing that bugged me was just single output! But still it is a great power bank and you should definitely buy it!
