How to create the business card in Microsoft Outlook 2007

The very first step of this journey is to create a new contact for yourself. To do this open Outlook 2007 and navigate to the option “New” on the left top side of your screen. Once you click on the given option you will see a new window and from there select “Contact“.

You should immediately notice another window open up in which you should require to fill in the details i,e the preliminary information. Here you are opted to add your photo on the right top corner of the window. In the window where you fill up the necessary information should look like this :

While filling up the information you will have a privilege to preview it on the top corner of your screen. your preview should look like this :

After completion with these jobs, we will step into a job which deals with making your business card look more creative. To do so navigate to the option section and from there click on “Business Card“.

Once you click on the above option a new window opens up entitled “Edit Business Card ” where you have the privilege to change or modify the design of the card starting from layout, background color, fonts, fields and other details. After all modifications are complete and the design of the card is according to your wish just click on ” Save and Close ” and your changes will be saved.

You can also have a preview to your modified and newly designed Business Card.

After completion open up new message to create one and then go to “Business Card ” and then to “Other Business Cards“.

The completion of the above step will show you a new window entitled “nsert Business Card” and from there select the business card you just created and then click “OK“.

The message now displays the electronic business card and the “soham.vcf ” file is automatically attached. The user getting your card might not be using Outlook 2007. But this doesn’t prevent him from viewing the card, since the vCard format is a standard used by the Internet globally.

Your job is done!!  Well, instead of creating an Electronic Business Card of your own design, since the process is a bit time consuming, you can also opt to download Templates from the Microsoft Office site. A definitely preferable process, downloading templates enable you to customize your business card in a much better fashion.
