Coolpad has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Coolpad Max. The new flagship smartphone will be available in Rose Gold and Royal Gold colour options. The Coolpad Max will cost you INR 24,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India, starting 30th May.
The Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch display with full-HD [1080 x 1920 pixels] resolution, and a pixel density of 401ppi. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The back panel sports a fingerprint sensor that [the company claims] will work with wet fingers too. The new smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor [the Chinese variant had Snapdragon 615], which clocks at 1.5GHz. It is supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Android 5.1 Lollipop OS-based smartphone runs company’s own CoolUI 8.0 on top.
The Coolpad Max features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an ISOCELL sensor, f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto-focus system [PDAF] and dual-tone LED flash. Also on-board, is a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The dual-SIM dual-standby smartphone comes with a 2800mAh battery, which offers up to 310 hours of standby time and up to 17 hours of talk time. Additionally, the smartphone comes with Quick Charge 3.0 feature, which can offers up to 3 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes.
The Coolpad Max also ships with a ‘Dual in One’ system, which offers a separate external system and an encrypted internal system.
