The popularity graph of Google is going high and high for its various free applications that you need in every step in your cloud-life. One can find him at spending all the day in Gmail, Google Reader, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Docs and Picasa Web Albums.
But the problem is that you have to go for each application by the corresponding web addresses of those apps or from the bookmarks (if you are little tricky). Here you can select the preferred Google account type. By default it uses the regular Google account. But if you wish to use your Google apps account, toggle that by selecting the radio button. Also select the landing application from the list if you want to change.
